Tuna cans sold at US supermarkets recalled due to 'manufacturing defect'

According to a press release by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Tri-Union Seafoods initiated the recall of tuna cans on February 7. This was done "out of an abundance of caution" after the manufacturer was alerted to a defect in the cans.
