Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that Indian Railways will achieve 100% electrification by FY 2025-26 and aims to be net zero by 2030. Railways have already secured 1.5 GW of renewable energy, with a new agreement for 170 MW from Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, significant improvements in railway infrastructure and funding for Madhya Pradesh were highlighted.
