A clash along the India-Bangladesh border in Tripura resulted in the death of a Bangladeshi smuggler and injury to a BSF jawan. The confrontation occurred when 20-25 Bangladeshi smugglers intruded into Indian territory. The BSF arrested 15 Bangladesh nationals, including women and children. Additionally, Assam police apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals and repatriated them.
