A visually impaired man was arrested at Kempegowda International Airport for smuggling gold worth ₹3.44 crore from Dubai. This came a day after Kannada actress Ranya Rao was caught at the same airport for smuggling 17 gold bars worth ₹12.56 crore. Following these incidents, stricter security measures have been introduced at the airport.
