The Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court rejected the bail plea of Raees Ahmed Sheikh, accused of being a Jaish-e-Mohammed operative. Sheikh was arrested for allegedly surveying the RSS founder’s memorial in Nagpur. The court determined there was sufficient evidence linking his activities to a potential terrorist act under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
