After a month-long searching process, ESPN has selected Shae Cornette as the new host of First Take, after Molly Qerim, who departed in the previous month following nearly a decade with the network. Qerim, who revealed her exit on Instagram, described hosting the show “one of the greatest honors” of her profession. ESPN executive Burke Magnus stated that the timing of her exit was not expected.
