Over 40 passengers had a miraculous escape when a bus travelling from Ranchi to Chatra caught fire on the Ranchi-Lohardaga highway. The blaze, suspected to be from a short circuit, was quickly doused by locals before a fire tender arrived. All passengers were safely evacuated, with no injuries reported. The bus owner will be questioned about safety measures.
