Till a few years back, there were only a couple of quick service restaurant (QSR) companies listed on the markets. Then came a spate of IPOs. All of them received good responses and did well for a while. That was when Zomato and Swiggy entered the picture with their food delivery revolution, enabling even the smallest food maker to reach customers everywhere. The QSR companies suffered – both in terms of business and valuations. How have they fared since? And are they worth looking at now?
