Ford has signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu government for a Rs 3250 crore investment to manufacture next-generation engines at its former Maraimalai Nagar plant. The facility, with a planned annual capacity of 235,000 engines, is expected to begin production in 2029 and create over 600 jobs, reinforcing India's role in Ford's global operations.
