The Competition Commission of India gave its nod to two significant deals. India Resurgence Fund will acquire a stake in Digvijay Cement, which will also buy shares in Hi-Bond Cement. Separately, ADES International Cayman will merge with Shelf Drilling Ltd. These approvals ensure market competition and prevent unfair practices.
