Brighton v Nottingham Forest Full Match Replay – 29 March 2025
Gary Lineker introduces live coverage of Nottingham Forest trying to reach their first FA Cup semi-final for 34 years as they take on Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium. The Reds have won the famous trophy twice before, most recently in 1959, and their impressive form this season will have fans dreaming of ending their drought in the competition. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are flying high in the Premier League and are chasing Champions League qualification, buoyed by the brilliant form of top scorer Chris Wood. The New Zealander scored a hat trick when these sides met in March, with Forest running out 7-0 victors at the City Ground. That was the Seagulls’ heaviest league defeat for 67 years, but they have responded with a good run of form recently, including a 2-1 victory at Newcastle in the last round of the FA Cup, where Danny Welbeck scored the winner in extra time.
