What's next for the Ravens after turnovers and drops led to another crushing playoff defeat?
The Baltimore Ravens had it. Until they didn’t.
This was the story of their 27-25 Divisional Round playoff defeat to the Buffalo Bills. Baltimore hung around thanks to a swarming defense that held on to MVP candidate Josh Allen by its fingernails to create the leverage for a second half comeback. But turnovers and an absolutely brutal Mark Andrews drop on what should have been a game-tying two-point conversion ultimately pushed Lamar Jackson to 3-5 in the playoffs in what’s been an otherwise legendary career.
The defeat brings Baltimore back to a familiar spot. The Ravens will once again be favored to make it to the postseason and a total question mark once they arrive. Jackson had Buffalo’s defense on the ropes late, but mistakes ultimately kept him from rewriting his playoff narrative. So what now?
