The 11-year-old owner of a rare Paul Skenes rookie card just made a life-changing decision
The 11-year-old child from Los Angeles who pulled the 1-of-1 Topps rookie card from Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes is going to sell.
Whoever pulled the card had an opportunity to have season tickets behind home plate for 30 years to watch to Pirates. Skenes’ girlfriend, Livvy Dune, also offered her suite as a way to increase the appeal of the offer.
This was the easiest decision ever, though. Why would an 11-year-old from Southern California want season tickets to a team that plays in Pittsburgh?

This card, which included an autograph from a pitcher as well as a patch from Skenes’ debut, is worth a ton of money. It will go for sale via Fanatics Collect in March.

Who knows how much the item will actually fetch when it is all said and done?
But this was hardly a difficult decision here as there is no reason for a kid who lives in Los Angeles to need season tickets to see the Pirates.
