Jalen Hurts injury update: What's the latest ahead of NFC Championship game vs. Commanders?
Jalen Hurts took a beating in the Eagles’ divisional-round game against the Rams.
The quarterback was sacked seven times and only dropped back to pass 20. So, on nearly half of his dropbacks, he was taken down by the Rams’ defensive line.
One of those hits left him with a hobbled knee. He seems to have avoided a major injury, but when asked whether he was OK by Melissa Stark on the broadcast, Hurts replied “I finished the game,” which won’t leave Eagles fans with a ton of confidence out there.
So what’s the deal? Will Hurts be able to play in the NFC Championship game against the Commanders?
It seems as if he will. Hurts was listed as a full participant for practice on Friday ahead of the game and he said his knee has been “progressing” and that he anticipated wearing a brace.
#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts on his knee: "It's been progressing, like coach said." Asked if he'll wear a brace Sunday, he said, "I anticipate so."

Is that an indication of Hurts being healthy? Not necessarily. But it is a pretty good indication that he will be playing in the game.
Sorry, Commanders fans. It doesn’t look like you’ll be seeing Kenny Pickett on Sunday.
