Darth Vader randomly killing Watto turned into hysterical Star Wars meme
Watto has reportedly died at the hands of Darth Vader.
The second edition in a new Star Wars comic series titled Legacy of Vader apparently features the feared Sith lord taking his revenge on everyone’s favorite Toydarian junk dealer.
A couple of flashback panels from the new comic show Darth Vader giving Watto the business, which is very sad for all those who loved the curmudgeonly trash salesman and brutally funny for all the rest of us.
Seriously, Darth Vader apparently destroys Watto, his former slave owner when he was just a wee boy on Tatooine in the first Star Wars prequel, in this comic. Is it an established part of Star Wars canon? Who knows, but this is absolutely hysterical in the most shameful way possible for someone to dream up.
We hate to think Darth Vader actually went all the way back to Tatooine just to blast Watto into the galactic afterlife, but this comic sure seems to think it’s what he did.

We’re not laughing at Watto’s untimely passing. That is awful; terrible for us to lose such a beloved prequel character. The internet made sure to give Watto his flowers as he becomes one with the Force… or wherever Watto goes when he gets zapped out of existence by Darth Vader.

We still have Watto's poetry, and his essays. They can kill him but they will never kill his ideas.

Darth Vader appearances in Star Wars nowadays are just "Vader finds a random Prequel-era side character that people didn't like and kills them." https://t.co/HdKiFerX5v

Vader wouldn't do that. Watto's his buddy https://t.co/XYGCdayA9T
