Super Bowl 2025 picks against the spread: A (near) consensus on the Eagles and Chiefs matchup
Folks, we made it.
The 2025 Super Bowl kicks off on Sunday between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles — two teams who looked capable of making it this far all season long, but never had the smoothest roads. On one side of the field is a Chiefs team seeking the NFL’s first-ever three-peat. On the other, an Eagles team out for revenge after losing the 2022 Super Bowl to Kansas City.
In the middle of it all is our panel of experts who have to pick against the spread for this one. After betting the spread on every NFL game this year, the only thing we’re going to remember is who got the big game right.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, there’s a near consensus on how this game is going to play out.
Best of luck to those who tail (or fade). Let’s do this. One last time until September.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles, Super Bowl
Opening Line: Chiefs -1.5
Blake Schuster: Chiefs -1.5
I have no idea how they are going to pull it off, but I know it’s a virtual lock. Why wouldn’t it be? Things just tend to work out for Kansas City now. This is our reality. Tom Brady’s reign as GOAT won’t even last half as long as his career did.
Prince Grimes: Chiefs -1.5
Now is when you throw out my mid regular season record and tail the kid. I’m 3-0 on SB picks at FTW and have another banger loaded. But really it’s not me you’re putting your faith in, it’s Patrick Mahomes. Sorry to say it, but he’s completing that 3-peat.
Charles Curtis: Chiefs -1.5
For what it’s worth, I’ve teased down the Eagles side, figuring it’ll be close. But the Chiefs are a juggernaut that has looked the part in the playoffs. They’ll win this by two points and we’ll all be nervous bettors throughout.
Cory Woodroof: Chiefs -1.5
They always get away with it.
Robert Zeglinski: Chiefs -1.5
OK, anyway, onto the 2025 offseason.
Christian D’Andrea: Eagles -2.5
THAT’S RIGHT, GIVE ME THAT ALTERNATE LINE GLORY AT +120
