Kendrick Lamar out-gained the Chiefs in ground yardage during his Super Bowl halftime show
Rapper Kendrick Lamar won the 2025 Super Bowl with his electric halftime show, and he somehow managed to out-gain the Kansas City Chiefs in ground yardage in the process.
Rap Daily estimated that Lamar traveled more than 145 yards during his performance, which is roughly triple the amount of yardage the Chiefs got with running the ball against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs gained a meager 49 yards on the ground during the entire Super Bowl as Philadelphia completely bottled up the rushing attack.
Lamar had much more success traversing the field in New Orleans than Kansas City did. However, to be fair to the Chiefs, nobody was trying to tackle him.
Still, that is a wild stat that underlines how much Lamar moved during his performance and how much Kansas City didn’t on Sunday.
