5 golfers who shockingly missed the cut at the Genesis Invitational (including Jordan Spieth!)

We’re through two rounds at the Genesis Invitational from historic Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California, and Davis Thompson holds a one-stroke lead over Scottie Scheffler sitting at 8-under for the tournament as we enter Saturday of a tight field.

However, not everyone participating in the event was as lucky as Thompson and Scheffler. Quite a few golfers who were expected to contend for the Genesis title missed the cut entirely, including several names that may come as a surprise.
