NFL mock draft from CBS has the Jets making a huge trade up for a QB
I would think the Tennessee Titans would be more than happy to stay at No. 1 in the 2025 NFL Draft to take a quarterback or an otherworldly athlete like Travis Hunter or Penn State pass-rusher Abdul Carter.
But what if they don’t take a QB, as we’ve seen in some mocks? What if a desperate team like the New York Jets jumps up and gives the Titans a ton of picks?
In the latest mock from our Christian D’Andrea, he has Miami QB Cam Ward going to the Titans, who stay at No. 1. He has the Jets grabbing LSU OT Will Campbell.
But in the latest NFL mock draft from CBS that has picks from Ryan Wilson and Mike Renner, they had the Jets trade up to No. 1 to take Ward.
Here’s the take from Renner:
“Compared to everyone else, they are in a bad spot to get a quarterback at No. 7 if they don’t make a big play. … This is the class to do it where you’ll have evaluations all over the map. If the Titans aren’t in love and are shopping the pick, I would be the first to call if I’m the New York Jets because if Cam Ward hits, you are a championship-caliber football team very, very quickly.”
Intriguing! Make sure to check out the latest mock draft from D’Andrea!
