KemperSports to manage four New Jersey golf courses
KemperSports, a golf, sports, entertainment and hospitality company, entered into a partnership with Morris County Park Commission in New Jersey to manage Berkshire Valley GC, Flanders Valley GC, Pinch Brook GC and Sunset Valley GC.
“KemperSports has a track record of providing exceptional service and a best-in-class golf experience to their guests,” said Dave Helmer, executive director of Morris County Park Commission. “Their experience and innate knowledge of the Northeast golf market will be a tremendous benefit to golfers in Morris County and beyond.”
Berkshire Valley GC
Roger Rulewich-designed Berkshire Valley opened in 2004 and is located in Oak Ridge, N.J., amid 600 acres in the Highlands region of the Garden State.
Flanders Valley GC
Flanders (N.J.) Valley includes a pair of 18-hole championship golf courses. The Blue-to-White course is a traditional tree-lined countryside golf course, while the Gold-to-Red plays along the outside of the property with more elevation changes and views of the surrounding countryside.
Pinch Brook GC
Pinch Brook Golf Course in Florham Park, N.J., is an executive-length golf course created by the design team of Rees Jones when it opened in 1983. The par-62, 5,000-yard layout has water on most holes, including a lake on the 7th hole shaped like New Jersey.
Sunset Valley GC
Located in Pompton Plains, N.J., the course was designed by Hal Purdy and opened in 1974.
“Morris County has a wonderful selection of outstanding golf courses,” said Steve Skinner, CEO of KemperSports. “We look forward to partnering with the County and community to elevate the experience at each of these clubs and continue to grow the game.”
KemperSports now manages 16 golf courses, sports complexes and athletic venues in New York and New Jersey, including partnerships with Union County (N.J.) and the New York Parks Department.
