BDA starts levying one-time fine for site allottees who haven’t built houses within 3 years, spares Arkavathy and Kempegowda Layout

Rules framed for the BDA Act, 1976 says that an allottee has to build a house within three years of allotment, failing which s/he can get an absolute sale deed of the site by paying a one time fine of 10% of guidance value of the site that day. However, the rule hadn’t been implemented till date.
