Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has declared the state free of extreme poverty, marking a major milestone in social welfare. The initiative, launched in 2021, focused on targeted support through housing for 4.7 lakh families, pensions for 62 lakh, and personalised micro plans for 64,000 households. Powered by public participation and coordinated government efforts, this project aims to ensure lasting social and economic upliftment across Kerala.
