We stopped for a quick wander around the stone walls of Prudhoe Castle perched high on the south bank of the river Tyne. This castle has the reputation of having never been captured by the Scots throughput the many sieges and battle it was involved in.

Our wander today included several hours hiking up and around the Old Man of Storr trail about fifteen minutes from the town of Portree. It is a steep trail but the views along the way distract from the huffing and puffing as you make you way up. So many incredible views as you climb higher.
