Cross country ski at Mud Lake

Saturdays adventure took us to Mud Lake in the Britannia area, loads of new snow for us to cross country ski through. We did a short section of the groomed track set trail and then veered off into the forest to circle around the lake. Snow was fantastic and very deep, someone had broken a trail and we followed along to pack it out. At one point we were greeted by a large group of wild turkeys who checked us out hoping for some treats.
