Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Darshan HV has banned electric autorickshaws operating without permits across the district. An earlier order permitting free movement of e-autorickshaws and those using methanol/ethanol fuel has been cancelled. Autorickshaws must now adhere to zone-specific permits and display designated stickers.
