A 20-year-old postgraduate student was abducted and gang-raped in Coimbatore after her boyfriend was attacked. Three men on a moped assaulted the couple, then took the woman to a deserted area. Police arrested three suspects from Madurai after an encounter, but the survivor could not identify them due to CCTV glare.
