The Archaeological Survey of India plans to document and conserve approximately 120 rock art sites across Odisha. Currently, conservation efforts are underway at Vikramkhol, the state's sole ASI-protected rock art site, which features geometric and non-geometric figures, animal footprints, and inscription-like signs. These sites offer valuable insights into prehistoric life and culture.
