Justin Timberlake DWI Case Update: Judge Scolds 'Unprepared' Prosecution During Latest Hearing
Justin Timberlake‘s legal team was back in court on Friday (August 9) for his ongoing DWI case.
The 43-year-old pop star was not present at the Sag Harbor Village Justice Court for the latest hearing, which came one week after he virtually entered a plea of not guilty for charges stemming from his June 2024 DWI arrest.

According to reporting by People, the prosecution landed in some hot water from the judge, who said that they were “unprepared” as they continue gathering evidence. The judge wanted them to have more evidence gathered, but they are still waiting for information.
Justin‘s attorney Edward Burke Jr. told reporters outside that it was a “very procedural day” in court and that he had no other comments.
The next court date is not until September 13. Justin will not need to return to the United States to attend.
