'Blink Twice' Movie: Amazon MGM Studios Shares Trigger Warner Ahead of Film's Release
Blink Twice is hitting theaters this weekend, but a trigger warning has just been released for the film.
The upcoming movie marks the directorial debut for Zoe Kravitz, who also penned the screenplay with E.T. Feigenbaum.
Zoe and her stars, fiancé Channing Tatum and Naomi Ackie, have been on a worldwide press tour promoting the film, and Amazon MGM Studios just shared a warning for those who may be planning to see the movie.

“We are proud to finally share Blink Twice with audiences in theaters worldwide this week,” the studio shared on social media. “Blink Twice is a psychological thriller about the abuse of power. While this is a fictionalized movie, it contains mature themes and depictions of violence – including sexual violence.”
“This may be upsetting or triggering for some viewers,” they concluded, before sharing a link to resources for support, which can be found at BlinkTwiceResources.com.
Here’s the synopsis of the film: When tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise. Wild nights blend into sun soaked days and everyone’s having a great time. No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. There is something wrong with this place. She’ll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out of this party alive.
