They’ll now join forces for Home Sweet Christmas, which will premiere as part of the network’s Great American Christmas 2024 programing.
According to reporting by The Hollywood Reporter, Candace plays a mergers and acquisitions attorney named Sophie Marlow “who returns to her hometown in the state of Washington after her late uncle leaves her with 60 percent of his maple forest property.”
Her friend Sam (Mathison) owns the remaining stake in the land. Plans to sell the property stall out as the pair reconnects.
The project has already entered production and marks the first collaboration between the pair.
“We’ve been waiting 15 years to do a Christmas movie together and it’s finally happening!!! We can’t wait for you to enjoy this movie alongside your family,” Candace gushed in a post on Instagram.
Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells has been postponed at least until next year.
