Angelina Jolie Moved to Tears During 8-Minute Standing Ovation for 'Maria' Movie at Venice Premiere
Angelina Jolie was moved to tears by the incredible response to her new movie Maria during the 2024 Venice Film Festival premiere.
The Oscar-winning actress was seen turning away from the crowd to wipe her tears away during an eight-minute standing ovation after the movie premiere on Thursday (August 29) in Venice, Italy.
Angelina has revealed that making this movie felt like therapy for her.
“I had no idea how much I was holding in and not letting out,” she said (via THR). “So the challenge wasn’t the technical, it was an emotional experience to find my voice, to be in my body, to express. You have to give every single part of yourself.”
