Effect of Taylor Swift's Kamala Harris Endorsement Revealed - See How Many Visited Voter-Registration Site
Taylor Swift‘s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election seemingly had a massive effect on voter registration.
The 34-year-old pop titan publicly voiced support for the Democratic candidate on Tuesday (September 10), shortly after Kamala‘s debate with Donald Trump.
She also shared a link to Vote.gov, a website where you can check your voter registration status and learn how to register, on her Instagram story.
The story expired after 24 hours. But before then, it drove an impressive number of people to the site. That number has been revealed as well as additional details.

A spokesperson for the General Services Administration (an organization that runs the website) told Variety that her link drove 405,999 people to the site. Between September 10 and 11, 726,523 users visited the site, meaning Taylor was responsible for more than half of that engagement.
In that time frame, 27,000 registered to vote, and 80,000 checked their status. It’s not clear how many of those people were referred from Taylor‘s link or what party they registered for.
