Shawn Mendes puts on a performance and displays his ripped physique in the music video for his new single “Nobody Knows.”
The 26-year-old hitmaker debuted the song earlier this week during a performance at the 2024 MTV VMAs. On Friday (September 13), he rolled out the hazy visual, which was directed by Connor Brashier.
In it, he and some pals deal with heartbreak in the classic ways – by taking their shirts off, drinking, dancing and putting on a general show.

“When you’re so in love / And your souls touch / But it’s still not enough / Where does it go,” Shawn croons on the chorus, “Nobody knows / Where the love goes.”
“Just 3 sweaty boys crying about love,” Shawn wrote about the visual in a post on Instagram.
The new single will land on the tracklist to his self-titled album, which arrives on October 18. It follows previous songs “Why Why Why” and “Isn’t that Enough.”
On “Why Why Why,” Shawn sang about almost becoming a father.
