Freddie Prinze Jr. to Reprise Role in 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' Sequel
It’s official – Freddie Prinze Jr. is returning for the upcoming I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel!
On Monday (Sept. 23), it was announced that the 48-year-old actor will be reprising his role as Ray Bronson in the upcoming third installment of the horror/thriller movie franchise, Deadline reports.
Freddie starred in the first movie released back in 1997, alongside now-wife Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Ryan Phillippe, which followed four young friends bound together by a tragic accident who then find themselves being stalked by a hook-wielding maniac in their small seaside town.

While plot details are being kept under wraps, it has been announced that the new movie is expected to hit theaters July 18, 2025.
