The hospital shared several photos of Johnny during the visit on X (formerly Twitter). In one, he is cradling a young child wearing a hospital gown. Another shows him posing with his arm around a different child.
“From Osakidetza, and especially from all the staff of the Donostia University Hospital, we would like to express our infinite gratitude to Johnny Depp for his time, his support and his energy, as well as to [the San Sebastián Film Festival] for having facilitated this visit,” they captioned the photos.
According to reporting by People, Johnny remained in character throughout the entire visit.
Johnny is in Spain to attend the film festival, where he is promoting his new movie Modi – Three Days on the Wings of Madness, which he directed.
While at the festival, he seemingly referenced his legal standoff with ex Amber Heard.
