Macaulay Culkin‘s oldest son Dakota has a truly adorable theory about his dad’s iconic movie Home Alone.

“He thinks he’s Kevin,” Macaulay told E! News. “I’m like, ‘Do you remember going down the stairs on the sled?’ He’s like, ‘Mmhmm, yep. Sure do.’ I’m like, ‘Do you remember when he had yellow hair?’ And he’s like, ‘Uh-huh, yep.’”
Dakota even said that he “fought the burglars.” That was a step too far for his dad, who jokingly called his son “a lying liar who lies.”
Macaulay opened up about watching the movie with his sons, saying that they’re still too young to “really follow the storyline.”
“So I kind of told them the story as it goes,” he explained, adding that one day they would likely be shocked to realize that he starred in the holiday classic.
