Aaron Taylor Johnson's '28 Years Later' Trailer Promises a Thrilling & Terrifying Sequel, Also Starring Jodie Comer - Watch Now!

Aaron Taylor Johnson‘s new movie trailer, 28 Years Later, debuted as he paid visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night (December 9) in Los Angeles.

The film also stars Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes, and is “a terrifying new story set in the world created by 28 Days Later.” 28 Days Later was released in 2002 and stars Cillian Murphy.

Here’s the new film’s synopsis: It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, and now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well.

Cillian is supposed to play a role in this film as well, though his face is not seen in the trailer. Social media is speculating that he’s one of the zombies featured.

28 Years Later will be released in theaters on June 20, 2025.
