Will Marvel's First Avengers Appear in Future Movies? 1 Has a Confirmed Comeback, Another is Involved in a 'Secret' Project & a 3rd is In Talks to Return!
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will never stop hoping that the founding members of the Avengers – Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner – will return to the franchise for new movies.
It turns out that some of them have exciting projects in the works!
It’s been years since Black Widow, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Hawkeye first assembled. The stories of many of the original members seemingly came to a close in recent years.
Even still, the actors are asked about the franchise in almost all of their interviews. Of course, it doesn’t help that a massive report in late 2023 suggested that there were efforts to get the team back together again.
What are the chances of that happening?
We can’t say for sure. However, one member of the team is confirmed to return for a new movie, and another is said to be in talks for a comeback. A third hero has a secret project in development with the studio. The remaining three have also discussed the possibility, with one hoping for (but not expecting to get) a standalone movie.
We rounded up the latest thing that each of the actors has said about their future with Marvel.
