Why 'Elsbeth' Won't Return with New Episodes Until Late January 2025
Elsbeth fans will be waiting a long time for new episodes following tonight’s fall finale as the CBS show is taking a six-week break.
The Carrie Preston-led procedural, which is a spinoff of the Good Wife universe, will air the eighth episode of season two TONIGHT (December 19) at 10/9c.
Then, the show is going off the air for a six-week hiatus and new episodes will begin airing at the end of January 2025.

So, what’s the reason for the break?
It’s actually normal for shows to take an extended break. Many TV shows air fall finales and take a hiatus during the winter holidays, and that is what the Elsbeth is doing this year!
The winter premiere will air on Thursday, January 30 at 10/9c.
