The 41-year-old American Idol winner is celebrating 2025 with a performance live from Times Square on Tuesday (December 31), and is expected to perform from 11:37 p.m. to 11:46 p.m. EST, according to organizers.

Carrie Underwood is married to Mike Fisher.

Mike is a Canadian-American former professional ice hockey centre for the Ottawa Senators.

In 2008, Carrie‘s bassist Mark Childers invited his friend backstage after one of her shows, as he thought the two would hit it off – and her was right.

They began dating long distance, and eventually got engaged in December 2009. They were married in July 2010. After Mike was traded to the Nashville Predators in 2011, the two were able to move from splitting time between locations to living together full-time.

He eventually retired from hockey in 2018.

The couple welcomed their son Isaiah Michael Fisher on February 27, 2015, and their second child, Jacob, on January 21, 2019. The happy family owns a farm outside Nashville.
