'Chicago P.D.' Actress Marina Squerciati Reveals She Quietly Welcomed Second Child in 2024!

In honor of New Year’s Eve on Tuesday (December 31), the 40-year-old actress, who plays Officer Kim Burgess on Chicago P.D., announced that she welcomed her second child in 2024.

I thought I handled being a pregnant working mom with grace—swipe to see my daughter’s very different take (look at the face she’s drawn for me),” Marina wrote on Instagram. “PS. THIS was the real reason I wasn’t in the first two episodes of #ChicagoPD, I was having a baby. Have a great NYE, friends!”
This is the second child for Marina and husband Eli Kay-Oliphant. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2017.
Chicago P.D. returns with new episodes on Wednesday, January 8 on NBC.
