Nicola Coughlan Says She's 'Absolutely in Shock' After Landing First Solo SAG Award Nomination

Nicola Coughlan is a SAG nominee!

On Wednesday (January 8), the 37-year-old actress received her first solo Screen Actors Guild Awards nomination for her role as Penelope Featherington on Bridgerton. The cast of the hit Netflix series was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, which they were also nominated for back in 2021.

Hours after receiving the nomination, Nicola took to Instagram to celebrate.

Nicola is nominated alongside Matlock‘s Kathy Bates, The Diplomat‘s Allison Janney, Shōgun‘s Anna Sawai, and The Diplomat‘s Keri Russell. The Bridgerton cast is nominated alongside the casts of The Diplomat, The Day of the Jackal, Shōgun, and Slow Horses.
