Megan Thee Stallion Receives Extended Restraining Order Against Tory Lanez
Megan Thee Stallion just had a win in court and was granted an extended restraining order against Tory Lanez.
The 29-year-old rapper was initially granted a restraining order that expired in 2023 and stemmed from an incident where Tory shot at her feet in 2020.
However, she went to court to have the order extended, alleging that she was being harassed by Tory while he serves time in prison.

According to reporting by Variety, a judge agreed that Megan had “sustained burden of proof.” Her new restraining order will remain in effect until January 9, 2030.
In court documents, Megan said that Tory was a “violent and dangerous criminal.”
She appeared in court via a video call, reportedly saying, “I feel like maybe he’ll shoot me again, and maybe this time I won’t make it.”
Tory was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023. In a statement at the time, he refused to apologize.
