Adam Devine Jokingly Reveals the Reason He's Losing Weight

Adam Devine is preparing for a potential role!

The 41-year-old Pitch Perfect actor and comedian spoke about his reasoning for losing weight in an interview.

“I feel like this year, I’m in such a good rhythm with this that I just want to stay on it,” he explained of his weight loss to People, adding: “And for me, I like where I’m at.”

“I’m not trying to get super lean,” he went on to say, jokingly saying: “I just want to be in a place where if Marvel calls, I can answer.”

“If my phone rings and it’s James Gunn saying, ‘Hey, we’re ready to bring you into the DC universe,’ I could say, ‘Hey, give me a couple of months, and I’ll be there,’” he added.

If you didn’t know, Adam revealed he gained 25 pounds during his wife’s pregnancy.
