Kate Middleton Visits Hospital Where She Received Her Cancer Treatments

Princess Catherine of Wales – aka Kate Middleton – paid a surprise visit to the hospital where she received her cancer treatments last year.

The 43-year-old royal arrived at Royal Marsden Hospital, where she greeted current patients and spoke with them about their treatments on Tuesday (January 14) in London, England. This is the Princess’ first solo, public engagement in over a year.

She had stayed out of the public eye for much of 2024 after revealing that she had been diagnosed with cancer. In September of 2024, she confirmed that she’d finished her chemotherapy treatment.

A palace spokesperson said of today’s visit, “The Princess wanted to make the journey to both show her gratitude to the incredible team, but also highlight the world leading care and treatment the Marsden provides.”

The Mirror caught was the Princess said to a cancer patient, telling them, “I wish I could do more. It will get better. There is light at the end of the tunnel.” As she left them, she shared, “Best of luck. You are in the best hands.”
