Paris Hilton Raises $800,000 for Los Angeles Fire Emergency Relief Efforts

Paris Hilton is giving back to her community.

After losing her sadly losing Malibu home, the reality star, businesswoman, and DJ has been working hard to raise funds for emergency relief efforts to help those affected by the devastating fires in Southern California.

On Tuesday night (January 14), Paris announced that her non-profit organization 11:11 Media Impact has raised $800,000 in emergency relief funds in 72 hours.

“After meeting with people impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires, I heard heartbreaking stories of loss but also inspiring resilience. My goal is to help as many as I can as quickly as possible, which is why I’m making a $150,000 grant to the GoFundMe Wildfire Relief Fund, providing direct cash assistance,” Paris shared in a statement to Variety.

“Hundreds of families will receive this assistance immediately ensuring they can address their needs and begin to rebuild their lives today,” she continued. “My heart is with everyone affected by this devastating situation, and my team and I at 11:11 Media Impact will continue to show up.”

Along with raising the funds, Paris has highlighted several non-profit organizations on social media ever since the the fires in the Los Angeles-area on January 3. This past weekend, she spent time volunteering at Baby2Baby packing up essential items for families in need and also helped out at the Pasadena Humane Society where she fostered a dog named ZuZu who was surrendered due to the fires.
