Margaret Qualley is detailing the severe effect the prosthetics she wore for The Substance had on her skin.

The acne lasted long after filming for The Substance ended and continued when she began working on her next movie Kinds of Kindness, in which she played four different characters.
“So, you know the character that has all that acne? That was just my acne from the prosthetics,” Margaret revealed. “And I was like, ‘Oh this is kind of perfect. I’m playing all these different characters — for one of them we’ll use all my crazy prosthetic acne.’ It took me probably a year to recover physically from all of it.”
In another recent interview, Margaret shared what type of movie roles she wants to take on next.
