Ariana Grande Reveals 'Sex & the City' Star David Eigenberg Had a Surprise Cameo in 'Wicked'

A Sex and the City star made a gripping cameo in Wicked, Ariana Grande has confirmed.

In the Wicked commentary bonus feature, the 31-year-old revealed that David Eigenberg, who played Steve Brady in SATC and reprises the role in Max’s And Just Like That, had one line as a Tamarin Monkey in the critically-acclaimed 2024 film.

David‘s one line comes in during an emotional moment where Dr. Dillamond, played by Peter Dinklage, addresses concerns regarding growing hostility towards animals within Oz.

“So that I guess is Steve from Sex and the City. He makes a cameo. He has one line and it’s the best line in the whole thing, the little Tamarin Monkey,” Ariana said in the commentary while doing an impression of David‘s gravelly voice.

“It’s the craziest thing in the world. You were great on 20 seasons of Sex and the City,” she added.

The line David said? “A solicitor was sacked just for arguing a case,” his character exclaims.
