Vin Diesel Shares Update About 'Fast X: Part 2,' Believed to Be Final Film in Franchise
Vin Diesel shared an update about what is believed to be the final entry in the
Fast & Furious film franchise and a direct sequel to 2023′s Fast X.
On Thursday (January 24), Vin took to social media to share an update about Fast X: Part 2. Namely, he revealed that the franchise would “finally return home” to film in Los Angeles upon the recommendation of a castmate.

On Instagram, Vin shared a photo of himself hugging costar Jordana Brewster. In the accompanying caption, he revealed a conversation that they had recently about filming in Los Angeles.
“Last week, during the fires that displaced LA… my sister Jordana reached out to me and said… Please have Universal film the rest of Fast X Part 2 in LA. Los Angeles needs it now more than ever,” Vin wrote. “Los Angeles is where Fast and Furious started filming 25 years ago… and now Fast will finally return home.”
