Drew Barrymore Admits She Still Hasn't 'Fully Recovered' from Will Kopelman Divorce

Drew Barrymore is speaking candidly about her split from ex-husband Will Kopelman.

If you didn’t know, the 49-year-old Charlie’s Angels actress was married to the 46-year-old art director from 2016 to 2016 and they share daughters Olive, 12, and Frankie, 10. The pair has remained friendly as they co-parent their daughters.

During the Friday (January 24) episode of her daytime talk show The Drew Barrymore Show, Drew admitted to guests Joy Behar and Susie Essman that she’s still reeling from the divorce.

Keep reading to find out more…“I think, for me, when I got divorced from my kids’ dad, I don’t think I have fully recovered from that in the sense of I just…” Drew said. “I was so invested in that plan.”

Susie, 69, noted that having children together can have an effect on a relationship.

“When you have kids together, that really changes things,” the Curb Your Enthusiasm said, prompting Joy, 82, to add, “Well you never get rid of them, once you have a kid.”

“We’re stuck together for life,” Drew agreed, before adding that she and Will have both “grown a lot through the last 14 years of our union with our kids.”

Joy, who divorced first husband Joseph Behar in 1981, stressed that going through a divorce can be very difficult.

“I don’t recommend divorce, it’s really… it’s a drag,” The View co-host said, as Drew replied, “Yeah, it destroyed me.”

In a new interview with AARP, Drew shared her thoughts on getting back into the dating scene.
